Stop wind-related backpuffing with the Vacu-Stack Chimney Cap (also sold as the HomeSaver Windbeater Cap), an economical, purpose-built solution for downdraft problems rather than a general-purpose weather cap. If smoke is rolling back into the room on windy days, the Vacu-Stack's aerodynamic shape is designed to keep draft moving in the right direction. It's built from 26-gauge, 304-alloy stainless steel.
Installation — Different From a Standard Cap:
Slides into the pipe and is sealed with a bead of high-temperature silicone sealant. This slide-and-seal method is different from the screw-mounted caps elsewhere in this category.
