CrownSeal premixed flexible waterproof coating is, we think, the best trowel grade crown repair product on the market. CrownSeal remains permanently flexible so it can be used right up against the flue tile. Use it for a variety of both horizontal and vertical applications.
Application is easy. First, sweep off the crown to remove any loose particles. Then trowel on CrownSeal to a thickness of 1/8" to 1/4". Smooth out the trowel marks with a wet paint bruch and you've got a great looking crown that dries to a natural concrete look.
CrownSeal covers about 18 sq. ft. per gallon at 1/8" thickness. It dries in about six hours and cures completely in 24-72 hours depending on temperature and humidity.
CrownSeal should not be used at temperatures below 40 degrees, and the temperature must remain above 40 degrees for 24 hours after it is applied.
CrownSeal carries a 10-year warranty.
